ANNA KOSOVSKY

Anna Kosovsky is a painter and sign artist who works and lives in New York City. She graduated from Bowdoin College with a degree in Art History in 2008. In 2009, she moved back to New York where she established a studio practice in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Anna has exhibited in several spaces across the city. She has guest-curated at the Living Gallery. Anna is a Richard and Mica Hadar Foundation scholar where she helped her mentor Beth Rosenberg establish Tech Unlimited, a non-profit that teaches technology skills to neurodiverse students. She worked for TKU as a Teaching Artist and Program Coordinator from 2010-2015. In 2015, Anna transitioned into a full-time Sign Artist position at Trader Joes where she helped create the murals and signage required to open the Murray Hill, Soho, Essex-Market and Williamsburg locations. In 2021, Anna stepped away from sign art to focus on her studio practice in Ridgewood, Queens. Additionally she assists and hosts Drink and Draw sessions at the Bathaus, a community staple that provides weekly figure drawing. Anna is excited to announce that she has been selected for the 2026 ChaNorth Summer Residency Program in the Hudson Valley.
